Good Morning guys!  Hope you had a good weekend! Personally I’m more looking forward to this coming up weekend and next week…I have fun plans! Yesterday I reorganized my polish…again. The whole having it by color thing that I switched to a couple months ago just wasn’t working for me, so I put it back to being sorted by brand. Somehow all the polish that fit before now doesn’t fit…not sure how that happened. Guess I’ll be making a trip to Ikea soon to get another Helmer eek!

Today I have for you guys the Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen Spring 2011 Collection. I know we were all excited for this collection last year, I shudder thinking back at all the stores I went to searching for Hidden Treasure lol! This year the collection consists of a good mix of soft shades, a hot vampy shade and a few bright shades!

First up! Delphinium is a  kind of dusty lavender. I feel like we have seen this shade a lot this year but not this dark, everyone else seems to be doing lighter more lilac versions of it. The formula was great, I used 2 coats for full opacity!

Eel Skin is light medium grey creme. The name of this gives me the heebie-jeebies, eels freak me out. I think one must have traumatized me at a child visiting Sea World lol! I feel like we’ve seen a lot of this color this season also. Not sure if it’s dupey to anything that has come out…but I will look through my stash and see! Great formula on this one again, I used 2 coats for the photos below.

Barracuda is a bright ice blue shade, my personal favorite of the collection. I adore shades like this, the ones that make my ghostly skin look tan. I’m sporting this beauty on my toes right now! The formula was a bit tricky, it went on streaky but evened out at 3 coats.

Coral Fever is an orangey red coral. I love corals since they usually love me back, this is no exception! When I first got this I thought it might be close to Deborah Lippmann’s Girls Just Want To Have Fun but no such luck, 2 very different shades of coral. I used 2 coats on most nails for full opacity but some required 3 coats to even it out.

First Kiss is an almost dusty bubblegum pink. I’ve been trying to figure out how to describe this color and that’s the best I’ve got! Normally not a color I’d be drawn to but I really loved it once I got it on. The formula was a bit streaky I used 3 coats for full opacity.

Malt is a dark tan polish. I thought this would be my favorite since I love me a good neutral but it’s doing weird things with my skin tone. I do love the color, I just wish it worked better on me! I used 2 coats of Malt for the photos below.

Summer Plum a vampy dark plum. I LOVE THIS POLISH lol….I forget how much I love dark vampy colors like this until I put one on after wearing softer shades for a while. This polish is perfection, the color and formula were just great! I used 2 coats of Summer Plum for the photos below.

Lastly, Sally Hansen is introducing a new design of Salon Effects with this collection called Wicked Bamboo! I haven’t worn these yet, but I wanted to show you what they look like anyway! I really like this design, it’s simple but something I personally couldn’t do as nail art. Anything that requires me to draw a straight line is pretty much not going to happen.

This collection will be on shelves in May, I haven’t seen it at any of my local drugstores yet…so hopefully it should start popping up soon! The polishes retail for $6.99 each and the Salon Effects retail for $9.95
